CUET UG 2026 exam: The Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate (CUET UG) 2026 exam has been postponed. It was scheduled for May 28th. The National Testing Agency (NTA) announced the postponement, stating, “Due to the change in the date of the Eid al-Zuha (Bakrid) holiday, both shifts of the CUET UG 2026 exam scheduled for May 28th, 2026, have been postponed. The new schedule will be released soon. Candidates wishing to appear for the CUET UG 2026 exam should wait for the revised schedule. The exam is scheduled to run from May 11th to May 31st, 2026. Except for May 28th, the exams will be conducted as scheduled on all other days.

The central government’s calendar previously scheduled the Bakrid holiday for May 27th. However, this has now been changed. Instead of May 27th, Bakrid will now be celebrated on May 28th. The exam has been postponed due to the change in the Bakrid date.

CUET UG (Common University Entrance Test for Undergraduates) is a national-level entrance exam. Admission to all central universities (such as Delhi University, JNU, BHU, and Jamia Millia Islamia) is based on this exam.
