The Sindh government has once again relaxed biometric verification requirements for vehicle transfer procedures, offering relief to citizens purchasing vehicles across the province.
According to a notification issued by the Sindh Excise, Taxation and Narcotics Control Department, buyers will be allowed to transfer vehicles without the seller’s mandatory NADRA biometric verification.
Officials said the decision was taken to facilitate the public and ease complications faced during vehicle ownership transfer procedures.
Under the latest notification, the exemption has been extended until June 30, 2026.
The Sindh Excise, Taxation and Narcotics Control Department has directed relevant authorities to implement the decision across the province.
