RedMagic has launched the RedMagic 11S Pro series in China as its latest gaming-focused flagship lineup.
The new phones bring upgrades in performance, cooling, display quality, and battery capacity. The series also adds features designed to give smartphone users a more PC style gaming experience.
Design and Display
The RedMagic 11S Pro series features a 6.85-inch 1.5K OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate.
The screen offers a 95.3 percent screen-to-body ratio and uses BOE’s X10 under-display lighting material. RedMagic has also included a 16 megapixel under-display selfie camera.
The display supports SGS and TÜV Rheinland eye protection certifications. It also includes a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. Both phones are available in Silver Wing and Dark Night colors.
Internals and Software
The Red Magic 11S Pro series runs on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Leading Version chipset. The chip has a peak CPU clock speed of 4.74GHz. According to the company, the phone scored more than 4.6 million points on AnTuTu. The lineup also includes RedMagic’s self-developed Red Core R4 gaming chip. It is designed to improve graphics rendering, frame interpolation, touch response, and overall gaming performance.
For cooling, RedMagic has added a dual cooling system that combines liquid and air cooling. The setup includes a redesigned liquid cooling channel, a 24,000rpm cooling fan, and a new 43-blade internal fan structure. The company says the cooling fan supports IPX8 water resistance. The device itself also carries an IPX8 rating.
The Pro+ model includes the full liquid cooling module. It is aimed at users who want stronger, sustained gaming performance and better thermal control during long gaming sessions.
The phones also support WiFi 7, NFC, infrared remote control, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Another major feature is Steam Direct connectivity, which allows users to access supported PC games directly through the built-in gaming space.
Cameras
The RedMagic 11S Pro series comes with dual 50 megapixel rear cameras.
On the front, the phones use a 16 megapixel under-display selfie camera, allowing the display to avoid a visible notch or punch hole.
Battery and Pricing
The standard Red Magic 11S Pro packs an 8000mAh battery with 80W wired charging. The RedMagic 11S Pro+ has a 7500mAh battery with 120W wired charging and 80W wireless charging.
The RedMagic 11S Pro starts at about $760 for the 12GB and 256GB models. The RedMagic 11S Pro+ starts at about $860 for the 12GB and 256GB versions. The 16GB and 512GB models cost about $970. The 16GB and 1TB versions are priced at about $1,110.
There is no clarity yet on whether the RedMagic 11S Pro series will launch globally.
