Due to road-widening work from Zero Bend to Marwari, vehicles carrying pilgrims are facing traffic jams frequently. They said they had faced problems on Thursday after vehicles were diverted from the Petrol Pump. This resulted in long jams up to Auli, they said and added that they faced the same congestion on the stretch on Friday, too.
The police station in-charge, Devendra Rawat said that wherever necessary, JCBs were being used to allow smooth passage of the pilgrim-carrying vehicles.
