This was well done from Sofia, tonally speaking: It’s still slightly poofy, as is her wont, but it’s black, so it feels serious….but not TOO serious, as befits an awards show. Plus, some major diamonds and otherwise very streamlined styling? The brief as been fulfilled!
PS: The less said about the brown shag carpet decision the better.
