Rimjhim Roy joins Ogilvy as Vice President – Strategy


Ogilvy has appointed Rimjhim Roy as Vice President – Strategy, bringing nearly a decade of experience across brand and communications roles in the Asia-Pacific region.

Roy has worked across sectors including technology, healthcare, FMCG and fashion in both advertising and public relations. Prior to joining Ogilvy, she served in a dual role at Edelman as lead healthcare planner for the Asia-Pacific region and lead planner for Edelman Malaysia.

She has led strategy and campaigns for healthcare brands including Johnson & Johnson, Roche, Novartis and Novo Nordisk, focusing on product launches and market-shaping initiatives. She has also worked on campaigns for brands such as Starbucks, Unilever, Diageo and Tencent Games, and has been involved in repositioning efforts for Tune Talk and Amgen.

Roy has previously worked with agencies including 82point5 and DDB, where she contributed to campaigns such as ‘Samajhdar Bisleri Peetein Hain’ and ‘We are Challengers’ for Royal Challengers Bangalore and RC Whisky.

At Ogilvy, she will work on the Coca-Cola Nutrition portfolio and contribute to strategy for the British Petroleum creative hub.

Roy is a graduate of MICA Ahmedabad, where she completed her advertising strategy programme with academic honours in 2017.
