Reducing Flight Ticket Prices: There’s some good news for travelers planning to travel from Noida International Airport. Several airlines have begun reducing ticket prices, making air travel to many cities cheaper than before.

Both IndiGo and Akasha Air have reduced fares on various routes. This is expected to benefit travelers when booking tickets. Importantly, the reduction in fares is expected to increase passenger traffic from Jewar Airport.

According to reports, Akasha Air has reduced fares the most on the Bengaluru route by approximately 2,000 rupees. Fares to Navi Mumbai have also been significantly reduced. Meanwhile, IndiGo has provided relief to travelers traveling to Lucknow by reducing their tickets, although fares on the Bengaluru route have increased.

Flights will commence from June 15th

Passenger services are set to resume from Noida International Airport on June 15th. IndiGo will operate flights to four cities from the first day, while Akasa Air will begin its services from June 16th. Akasa has also opened ticket bookings.

Initially, questions were raised about the high cost of both airlines’ tickets compared to Delhi Airport. People wondered why passengers would choose Jewar Airport when flights from Delhi were available at lower fares. The Jewar MLA even wrote a letter to PM Modi and CM Yogi regarding this. Now, with the fare reduction, airlines hope to increase passenger interest and increase bookings.

This change in fares is expected to make travel from Jewar Airport not only easier but also more affordable, leading to a surge in bookings.
