
KARACHI, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 4th May, 2026) Pakistan Rangers Sindh on Monday arrested three suspects belonging to the “Sher Group” allegedly involved in multiple robbery and street crime during an intelligence-based operation in Sohrab Goth area of the city.
The arrested suspects were identified as Sher Ali, the alleged ringleader, along with Hayatullah and Riaz Khan.
According to a Rangers spokesperson, a stolen motorcycle, a mobile phone and cash were recovered from their possession. The suspects, along with their accomplices, were reportedly involved in robbery, street crime, mobile snatching and motorcycle theft in areas including Gabol Town, Industrial Area, Sohrab Goth and adjoining localities.
Officials said the suspects were habitual offenders, adding that a case had already been registered against Sher Ali at Sohrab Goth Police Station. The suspects were also allegedly involved in a recent motorcycle theft in Gabol Town, which was captured on CCTV footage. Efforts are underway to arrest other members of the group.
The arrested suspects, along with recovered items, have been handed over to police for further legal proceedings.
