Prime Video is expanding its short-form video feed feature, Clips, to include scenes and moments from movies and television series on its mobile app.
The feature was first introduced during the 2025-26 NBA season, when users could browse short video highlights on the NBA collection page. Clips will now appear across its broader content library.
The feed is designed as a vertical, scrollable video experience on mobile devices. Users can access it by selecting a clip from the Clips carousel on the Prime Video mobile home page, which opens a full-screen feed of additional personalised clips.
From the feed, users can watch the full title, rent or buy content, subscribe for access, save titles to a watchlist, or share clips with others through messaging apps, social media platforms or email.
Recipients who receive shared clips will be directed to the content within the Prime Video app, where they can continue browsing additional clips. Accessing shared clips requires the Prime Video app to be installed on a mobile device.
The Clips feature is being rolled out initially to select users in the United States on iOS, Android and Fire tablet devices, with broader availability planned later this summer.
The rollout comes alongside other updates to the Prime Video mobile app, including a redesigned home page with autoplay trailers, vertical poster images for mobile viewing and changes to the video player intended to improve navigation through cast information and related content.
