Aer Lingus will be launching three new flight routes for the summer which include both Cork and Dublin Airport, along with the return of some summer favourite routes
Aer Lingus are taking off this summer with three brand new routes, departing from both Cork and Dublin Airport.
From April 30th, the airline is expanding their summer schedule with three new short-haul flights.
A new service from Cork to Nice will start on Saturday, with two new routes added from Dublin to Oslo, Norway’s natural beauty capital city and Dublin to Asturias, a hidden gem in northern Spain.
Also returning this weekend is the Dublin to Pisa route, along with Catania in Sicily, Nantes in France and the Greek islands of Santorini and Corfu, also set to commence.
For long-haul flights, the Dublin to the ‘Mile High City’ of Denver route is returning with a direct flight. Denver is growing in popularity due to its scenery, hiking and outdoor fun.
From May 19th, the short-haul flight from Dublin to Montpellier will be introduced, with Cork to Santiago commencing from June 1st.
A new Aer Lingus Regional flight, operated by Emerald Airlines, will also begin service for those looking to explore the Scottish Highlands to Inverness from 21 May 2026, while a new route to Tours in France will fly from 6 June.
Reid Moody, Chief Strategy & Planning Officer, said: “Aer Lingus is launching three new routes from Dublin and Cork this weekend, alongside the return of some of our most popular seasonal destinations. Our summer schedule provides customers with even greater choice and flexibility for sun, culture and adventure closer to home.
“The return of our Dublin-Denver service, together with new routes to Raleigh‑Durham and Pittsburgh, further strengthens our transatlantic offering for the summer season. With convenient connectivity through Dublin, Aer Lingus continues to make it easier for customers to plan summer journeys on both sides of the Atlantic.”
Aer Lingus will operate a total of 24 routes from Ireland to North America in 2026, including two new routes to Raleigh-Durham, which took off earlier this month, and Pittsburgh, from 25 May 2026.
