Influencer Niamh De Brún and Kilkenny hurler TJ Reid’s baby son, Seán Óg, was hospitalised recently after displaying some worrying health symptoms – now Niamh has an update

It’s been a worrying time for influencer Niamh De Brún and her hurling legend husband TJ Reid, as their youngest child, Seán Óg, was hospitalised.
Niamh explained that she went to the doctor with her baby son yesterday, and he advised her to go to hospital with Seán Óg.
Thankfully, Sean Óg has since come home, with Niamh giving a positive update about his health.
“Seán Óg came home last night. It was just a viral infection, thank God. The doctor had mentioned the words RSV and pneumonia when we were in with him yesterday.
“Look, I know doctors, especially with children, they err on the side of caution. So it was good to just bring him to the paediatric ward and get him checked out in St Luke’s [Hospital].
“He’s home here now. I popped him into the bed beside me last night, he slept okay, his throat, he’s really sore and chesty, so I popped him into the bed beside me last night. I’m just going to keep him at home now for a few days.”
However, in the midst of all the stress, Niamh recalled how a simple act of kindness made her day.
While Seán Óg was in hospital, she went to go get McDonald’s dinner for her daughter, Harper. After driving through the drive thru, she was told her meal was already paid for by the driver in front.
“I was going through the drive-thru McDonald’s to get her dinner, very healthy, I know,” she said on her Instagram story. “We went to pay and the man was like, ‘Oh, the car in front of you has paid for your order’.
“It was a lovely little pick me up this evening, with Seán Óg going into hospital. Obviously he’ll be fine but we’re worried about him, so it was just a really nice deed,” Niamh said, thanking the car in front who paid for her.
She said she firmly believed this was karma coming to pay her back, as she recalled how she paid for an older man’s meal in a café.
