PML-N MPA Saqib Chadhar and his wife appeared before the NCCIA on Monday to record their statements in the Momina Iqbal harassment case.
According to details, the MPA was summoned by the NCCIA along with his wife. Chadhar appeared before the investigation team accompanied by his lawyer and submitted his mobile phone as part of the inquiry process.
The case came into public attention after actress Momina Iqbal accused the PML-N MPA of harassment and cyberbullying.
Sources said that both parties were called to record their statements and the digital evidence from their mobile devices was being reviewed.
Further action will be taken based on findings of the ongoing investigation and forensic examination of the mobile devices submitted by the two sides.
