Delhi-NCR experienced a powerful dust storm as soaring temperatures and changing weather patterns triggered strong winds across the region.
Delhi weather update: Bringing much needed relief for the residents of Delhi NCR on Wednesday, a massive dust storm has hit the region amid the rising scorching heat. Bringing strong winds, reduced visibility and a sudden dip in temperatures amid intensifying heatwave conditions, the storm has reduced the evening temperatures.
Several parts of the national capital and neighbouring cities witnessed traffic disruptions and power outages as dark clouds and dust engulfed the skyline. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has also predicted light to moderate rainfall and thunderstorms in the coming hours, offering temporary relief from the scorching summer heat gripping the region.
