RTÉ 2fm’s newest broadcaster, Katja Mia, has kicked off her hen celebrations in a stunning white dress with a veil detail only eagle eyed viewers might notice

Broadcaster and Presenter Katja Mia has kicked off her hen party celebrations in Dublin by showing off a stunning white mini dress and a veil with cut outs of her fiancé’s face all over it.
The RTÉ 2fm host is set to say her I do’s to influencer fiancé Darragh Curran this year as the bride-to-be is embracing change with her new job and big day, all in the same month.
Announcing the start of her hen celebrations, Katja posted her chosen dress to Instagram with the caption: “hen pt.1 lfgggg #henparty #2026bride #bachelorette“
In the video you can see, in hen party fashion, cut outs of Darragh’s face all over Katja’s veil, a twist on the classic cardboard cutout.
Her new co-host, Laura Fox commented: ‘Omggggggggggggggggg’.
Influencer Terrie McEvoy also hyped up the broadcaster by commenting: ‘Iconic’.
The former Six O’Clock Show host went for a rodeo, cowboy themed party at The Westbury, right at the heart of Dublin city centre.
The cute art card reads: ‘Katja’s Last Rodeo! Join the ride’.
Katja spoke to RSVP Live earlier this month after her big moments this year: “I turn 30 in May, I have my hen party in May, I’m getting married in May and then we’re debuting our new show in May. I don’t know why I do this to myself! I don’t want to stress myself out like this, but it just so happens that it’s all happening at the same time.
“If you want to get a bit witchy woo woo, I’m into astrology, I love all that; the Saturn return, turning 30, it’s all coming together. I’m embracing the change in the most positive way.”
She added: “At the same time, I think my life is just chaos and I thrive in chaos. The more chaotic, the better.”
