Following global increase, price of 24-karat gold per tola in Pakistan has surged by Rs5,000 to reach Rs475,362
KARACHI: (UrduPoint/UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News-May 21st, 2026) The gold prices on Thursday jumped to Rs475, 362 per tola in Pakistan after surge in rates in the global markets.
In the international bullion market, gold rose by $50 per ounce, taking the price to $4,530 per ounce.
Following the global increase, the price of 24-karat gold per tola in Pakistan surged by Rs5,000 to reach Rs475,362.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold increased by Rs4,287, reaching Rs407,546.
The silver prices also registered gains in the local market, with per tola silver rising by Rs60 to Rs8,034, while 10 grams increased by Rs51 to Rs6,887.
