Sometimes, I just like to round up a bunch of pleasant and pretty items that might bring you cheer, if you need a spot of it in your life. Yes, I’m gonna round up some swimsuits soon and tote bags — tote bags bring cheer! — and other more specific things but sometimes a person just wants to browse the internet for pretty things and think about treating yourself. At the moment, I’m DESPERATE for this shift dress in the iconic Scalamandre zebra print but cannot justify the cost. Instead…. maybe buy yourself a very fancy candle. Or some luxe honey. Or this perfect umbrella. Or a butter dish that looks like a cactus. Or beaded sandals with lobsters on them. (Yes, this is the time of year where I start buying stuff with lobsters on it.) Maybe you know someone who needs ceramic bookends that look like ships. Or a tote bag covered in BUTTER?!?! OR A WORKING PINK SMITH-CORONA TYPEWRITER?!?
