It’s that time of year again! As another batch of broadcast series wrap their latest seasons, networks are releasing 2026-2027 schedules and revealing the fates of series that have yet to be canceled or renewed.
Though it’s only May, we’ve already seen a noteworthy number of broadcast and streaming shows get the axe, with dozens more still on the chopping block. Thankfully, we’ve also seen networks order exciting new series and renew a number of existing favorites — from long-running hits like 9-1-1, Dancing With the Stars, NCIS, The Simpsons, and Law & Order: SVU, to successful new shows that snagged Season 2 renewals like CIA, Marshals, R.J. Decker, the Scrubs reboot, The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins, and more.
