ISLAMABAD, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 11th May, 2026) The Senate session commenced on Monday at 5:28 p.m. under the chairmanship of Senate Chairman Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani at the Parliament House.
The House was set to take up various agenda items, including the introduction of bills, legislative business, private members’ bills passed by the National Assembly and transmitted to the Senate, and reports of the relevant standing committees on various bills.
The agenda also included consideration of private members’ bills introduced in the Senate and reported back by standing committees, withdrawal of private members’ bills, and motions.
