Pakistan’s Armed Forces and the country would soon start preparations for celebrating the first anniversary of their splendid success story of defending the motherland against arch rival, India. Operation Marka-e-Haq and pits integrated component, Operation Bunyanum Marsoos. stand as testimony to unparalleled resolve of nation and excellent display of visionary leadership by military commander Chief of Defense Forces Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir. The military operation will be remembered as a decisive and victorious response to blatant Indian military aggression. The military campaign, codenamed as a “battle of truth,” was aimed at restoring deterrence and defeating evil designs of India.
Modi’s devilish mindset, coupled with BJP’s extremist ideology, led to the staging of “false flag” operation at Pahalgam on 22 April 25 to damage Pakistan’s reputation and later justify its military action. India blamed Pakistan-based militant groups for the terrorist attack but failed to provide any concrete evidence. Pakistan showed full cooperation and strict action against militants upon receipt of actionable intelligence or credible proofs. Acting irresponsibly, India undertook misadventure of attacking Pakistan under codenamed Operation Sindoor on 7 May 2025 and conducted airstrikes in Pakistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
Operation “Marka-e-Haq” was the broader military campaign encompassing from 22 April 25 to the 10 May 25 when ceasefire came into effect while “Operation Bunyanum Marsoos” was a major, short-lived military assualt launched by Pakistan on 10 May 25, involving targeted missile and air strikes on Indian military bases and logistical installations. The military operation projected national cohesion, with a clear objective to deter India by demonstrating technologically advanced, networked, and precision-strike capabilities through fighter jets, drones, and long-range missiles.
In defending Pakistan’s sovereignty, our armed forces demonstrated technologically far superior advanced capabilities by deploying missiles, drones, and smart munitions. Additionally, effective cyber operations were conducted to degrade Indian critical infrastructure. The military campaign re-established deterrence through swift victory. The exceptional and courageous leadership of the military commander, Chief of Defense Forces Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, inspired our armed forces to impose a humiliating defeat upon India.
Marka-e-Haq exhibited an examplry display of the synergy between all elements of national power, with overwhelming support of the public and especially youth. Contrary to Indian relentless provocations and strikes against civilians, Pakistan’s response was calculated and proportionate yet only against military targets. The textbook styled integrated tri-service application, backed by real-time situational awareness, network-centric warfare capabilities, and seamless multi-domain operations, Pakistan defeated India in every aspect of warfare. This acquired synergy across all spectrums like air, land, sea, and cyber domains enabled our armed forces for effective engagements with maximum lethality and enhanced battle tempo. The successful operation resulted in Indian troops being compelled to raise white flags and make requests for some respite in ferocious retaliation.
Pakistan Air Force (PAF) successfully established air superiority by outmaneuvering Indian jets and downed seven aircrafts, including most advanced fighter aircraft Rafale during massive aerial engagement which occurred on 6-7 May 25, involving over 100 jets from India and Pakistan, marking it a very significant dogfight after WW II.
Marka-e-Haq boosted Pakistan’s stature as a powerful but responsible nuclear state in the eye of the international community and strengthened its credibility at international forums, including the UN and OIC. The success also elevated Pakistan’s diplomatic standing among the comity of nations, acknowledging the nation’s “poised stance,”
Contrary to Bollywood mantra of invincibility and jingoistic media’s anti Pakistan rhetoric, Indian Chief of Defense Staff (CDS) General Anil Chauhan’s acknowledged publicly regarding significant set-backs and technical shortcomings during “Operation Sindoor” which also clearly announced marvelous success of Pakistan’s operation “Marka-e-Haq”.
Marka-e-Haq day will be celebrated on 10 May every year to pay homage to our Shuhada and our armed forces. This day will infuse added patriotism in our youth while cementing our resolve to defend every inch of our motherland. The success should be celebrated with full zeal and fervor to boost national morale and demonstrate resilience against security challenges.
