

Passport processing services at all Pakistan foreign missions have been suspended until further notice due to technical issues at the headquarters in Islamabad, according to official notices issued by overseas missions.
The notice states that passport operations at all foreign missions will remain halted, with authorities saying the resumption of services will be announced through official social media platforms.
In the United Arab Emirates, the Embassy of Pakistan in Abu Dhabi had earlier informed the Pakistani community that passport processing services were suspended due to technical and maintenance reasons.

Similarly, the Embassy of Pakistan in Muscat said passport operations in Oman have also been suspended due to technical issues at the Passport Headquarters in Islamabad.

Pakistani Community in Oman is hereby informed that due to technical reasons at Passport Headquarters Islamabad, passport operations at all Pakistan Foreign Missions including Embassy of Pakistan, Muscat will remain suspended until further notice.

Both missions said services will resume once the issue is resolved and expressed regret for the inconvenience caused to applicants.
