METRO RAILWAY PARTICIPATED IN THE 6TH INNOMETRO AT BHARAT MANDAPAM

Metro Railway has participated in the 6th InnoMetro, organised at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, from 21st to 22nd May,2026. InnoMetro was Asia’s leading exhibition and conference for presenting products, services, and ideas related to Metro, Railways, RRTS, HSR, and allied industries. The theme of this year’s exhibition was ‘AI-Enabled Sustainable Urban Mobility for Viksit Bharat’.
Through this exhibition, Metro Railway, Kolkata, has showcased its rich history, technological advancement, and pioneering journey in urban transportation.
Metro officers and staff participated in this exhibition to highlight the rich history and future endeavours of Kolkata Metro in front of the audience. For this, the Metro stall was decked up immaculately to showcase Metro’s important initiatives and adoption of modern technologies like Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), Linear Induction Motor Technology, the indigenous Kavach Safety System, etc.
Shri Subhransu S Mishra, General Manager, Metro Railway, visited the Metro stall on 21.05.2026 and reviewed the arrangements.
