Bonnie Ryan has welcomed her first child with husband John, and she has revealed the baby girl’s name in a sweet snap.
The beauty influencer shared the wonderful news on Instagram today, posting an adorable picture of the newborn with the simple caption: “Welcome to the world Winnie, 18.5.2026”
Bonnie announced her pregnancy over Christmas time last year, having previously revealed that she and John had dealt with fertility struggles.
Posting snaps of her cradling her growing baby bump at the time, the 33-year-old wrote on social media: “Looks like we made it.
“We’ve waited for this moment and finally here we are and, halfway cooked! So much love, gratitude and excitement for what’s to come.
“Sending love and luck to anyone on a TTC journey.”
Prior to her pregnancy news, Bonnie had opened up about her and John’s struggles to start a family and insensitive comments people make.
Speaking on her and sister Lottie’s podcast, No One Else Will Listen, the makeup guru said: “It’s all I want. I would absolutely love a baby.
“I’ve carried this quietly for a long time, and I’m finally ready to talk about it, because I know so many others are going through the same thing.
“In May I’ll be married four years and the amount of people who just presume I don’t want a family.
“Recently I was home and someone on the outskirts of our family, said something to me like, ‘does that give you the want Bonnie’ and laughed, as I was sitting beside a baby.
“And I said that’s all I want, I would love a baby and the shock on their face.
“They said, ‘I hundred percent thought you were never going to do it’. You just have no idea what to even say back.
“People just have no idea, that’s all I want, hopefully one day if I’m lucky enough.”
Bonnie and John underwent IVF to become pregnant, which was a stressful time for the couple.
She previously told Laura Fox on 2FM: “I went into it naively thinking it was a magic wand. I’ve gotten pregnant so it’s been the biggest blessing, but I definitely was naïve [about what it entails].”
She added it was mentally very challenging to go through IVF and she had to inject herself ‘morning, noon and night.’
During their first round of IVF, they weren’t able to retrieve any embryos, which was very hard for the couple to accept.
Bonnie, who lives in New York, opted to do the second round of IVF in Ireland during the summer of 2025 as it was more affordable than in the US.
Thankfully, the second round was successful, and Bonnie opted to keep the fact that she was implanting an embryo between her and John, instead surprising her family at Christmastime with the happy news that she was halfway through her pregnancy.
She continued: “I had to tell a few white lies… thankfully, I am so grateful we did get embryos this time. I am so sorry family, I did lie to you.
“I told them they were all being frozen until Christmas, but I did implant one [during the summer] and that’s the one I ended up getting pregnant with.”
