Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) has proposed the widening and expansion of 22 major roads and traffic corridors across Greater Hyderabad as part of the Master Plan 2031.

The proposed road expansion plan aims to improve:

According to HMDA, the proposed road widening works range from 24 meters to 60 meters in width depending on traffic demand, urban growth projections, and corridor importance.

Existing width proposed to increase from 30 meters to 45 meters.

Major corridor proposed to be widened up to 60 meters.

3. NGRI Metro (Habsiguda) → NMDC Ramanthapur

Road width proposed from 12 meters to 24 meters.

4. Chaderghat Junction → Nimboli Adda → Amberpet → Uppal Ring Road

Expansion proposed up to 60 meters.

5. Vanasthalipuram → Mansoorabad → Kamineni Hospitals Junction

Road widening proposed up to 30 meters.

6. Nagole Main Road → Anand Nagar → Bandlaguda → Central Ground Water Board
