We’ve looked back at the hosts/co-chairs of the Gala, but in recent years Anna Wintour has enlisted a larger roundtable of celebs to serve on this committee, which does… things, and also stuff. A few of them, like Chase Sui Wonders and Yseult and A’ja Wilson, have not attended before; I also left out Anna herself and Chloe Malle, and then Lauren Sanchez. We’ll have to deal with her on Monday but let’s avoid her like the plague today.
These are the remaining fashion highlights. Similarly to the earlier show, I did it chronologically rather than grouping it by person. The committee members featured herein are: Zoe Kravitz, Elizabeth Debicki, Teyana Taylor, Doja Cat, Angela Bassett, Sabrina Carpenter, Misty Copeland, Lena Dunham, Lisa, Paloma Elsesser, Alex Consani, Sam Smith, and Gwendoline Christie. I had no idea Zoe Kravitz had been to so many, didn’t remember Sabrina Carpenter had attended more than once, and didn’t know Misty Copeland has only been once. We’re learning!
