Mother’s Day is a time to celebrate the love, care, and support that mothers give every day. Among those who inspire on such occasions is Dr Saarthak Bakshi, founder and CEO of RISAA IVF, who chose to support his mother, Dr Rita Bakshi, in her mission to help couples to become parents. He came from an engineering background but he was inspired by his mother’s hard work, dedication and care for her patients. Seeing the happiness she brought to so many families encouraged him to join her journey. Today, they are helping people to find hope, happiness, and the joy of parenthood.
Bakshi holds a degree in Computer Engineering in which he got introduced to technology and problem solving skills. In addition, there was also a keen interest in business and management among all the other subjects that he studied. Further, he decided to continue his education through pursuing an MBA from Indian School of Business. Today, apart from being a part of RISAA IVF, he is also the founder and investor at NEOS Angels and has invested in more than 30 startups.
While he was pursuing studies in engineering and business, he was also fascinated by the efforts made by his mother, Dr Rita Bakshi. He noticed how dedicated she was towards helping couples to become parents. Seeing her treat all the patients with a high level of compassion and empathy made a huge impression on him.
In the year 2012, Dr Saarthak Bakshi joined hands with his mother to help those couples who are struggling with infertility. Their goal was to help them achieve their dreams of becoming parents. The devotion and sincerity of his mother while handling patients motivated him to join hands with her for this noble cause. Since then, both have been working for the betterment of such patients with sincere counseling, appropriate assistance, and effective treatment. Their ultimate aim is to understand each patient’s case in detail and to make them feel comfortable. They are successfully fulfilling their aim through RISAA IVF.
Now, with the help of more than 14 RISAA IVF centres all across India, Nepal and Bangladesh, the Bakshis offer compassionate and personalised solutions for infertility to couples by diagnosing the infertility problems faced by both males and females and offering the solution according to the requirement of the couple.
Each patient receives different treatment as each patient is unique, and they do not offer IVF to everyone. First, they listen to what the couple wants and understand the actual problem and then offer them the right solution. Their other treatments include IVF, IUI, ICSI, HSG, PRP, PESA/TESA, Male Infertility Treatment, Semen Analysis, PGT, DFI, Egg Freezing, and Hysteroscopy.
What started as a son supporting his mother’s dream has now become a mission that is bringing happiness to thousands of families. Together, through RISAA IVF, they continue to spread hope, care, and the joy of parenthood to couples across India and beyond.
