A fresh political controversy has erupted in Tamil Nadu after Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) released a video allegedly showing an AMMK MLA signing a letter of support for the party, intensifying the already heated government formation battle in the state.
According to the video released by TVK, the AMMK MLA Kamaraj is seen signing a document expressing support for TVK’s bid to form the government. The footage has quickly gone viral and sparked sharp reactions across political circles, with TVK presenting it as evidence of legitimate support for its claim to majority strength.
The controversy comes at a time when TVK is struggling to prove the required majority in the 234-member House, needing 118 seats to form the government.
