
Those living near Cork airport should expect disruptions tomorrow as Brad Pitt’s new film will be shooting scenes in the area which will cause for road closures
Several roads near Cork Airport are set to be closed off tomorrow for Brad Pitt’s new film where they will shooting scenes in the area.
Locals and businesses from the area were notified by Zadelle Films, who confirmed that temporary closures will be in place on Friday, May 1, as filming continues on the upcoming feature One For All.
Traffic is to be expected for those travelling in the area as diversions have been put in place for the road closures. Those living locally will still be able to access their homes, though delays are still applicable. The company says they will be depending on the ‘patience and goodwill of locals’ as filming is set to go ahead tomorrow afternoon.
According to Cork Beo, the L455 will be affected, with the stretch between Lios Cross and Pouladuff Road closed from 2 pm to 6 pm to accommodate the filming. There has been speculation, yet it is not confirmed whether Brad Pitt will be there at the film set.
The Hollywood star was spotted in Dublin earlier this year before production had begun, before moving on to other countries around Europe.
The film is an adaptation of Tim Winton’s 1994 novel The Riders, directed by Edward Berger. It’s a major international project that is bringing together big names in literature and film
