Oppo Pad 6 Launch Set for This Week With 3K Display

Oppo is preparing to launch the Pad 6 in China on May 25 at 18:00. The company has already shared several details about the tablet ahead of the event. Based on the early information, Oppo appears to be focusing on a balanced tablet experience instead of only chasing performance numbers.

Design And Display

The Oppo Pad 6 measures 5.99mm thick and weighs around 577 grams. It will be available in Starlight Blue, Galaxy Silver, and Deep Space Gray color options. The tablet features a 12.1-inch 3K LCD with a 144Hz refresh rate.

Oppo says the tablet uses a Soft Light screen design that helps reduce glare and reflections. This could make the device more comfortable for users who spend long hours reading documents, studying, or working on the screen.

Performance And Battery

The Oppo Pad 6 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500s chipset. Oppo claims the tablet can score around 3.06 million points on AnTuTu.

The tablet packs a 10,420mAh battery with 67W fast charging support. This should help it handle a full day of mixed use.

Productivity Features

Oppo is also focusing on multitasking and productivity with the Pad 6. The tablet will support floating windows, PC style file management, stylus support, cross-device integration, and AI-powered note-taking tools.

It will also support sharing a nearby phone’s 5G connection directly with the tablet. This should help users who work on the go without regular WiFi access.

Daily Use Focus

Based on the details revealed so far, the Oppo Pad 6 appears to be aimed at users who want a tablet for work, study, streaming, and casual gaming.

The tablet will officially launch in China on May 25, when Oppo is expected to reveal full pricing and availability details.
