Tensions rise at home between Hayley, James and Holly on Tuesday night’s Fair City.

When Holly begins to plan a promo video for Rafferty Homes, Hayley and James plot to get her to overspend to annoy Rafferty.

Claire warns Rafferty that Holly has all the power now.

James urges Holly to spare no expense hiring the top professionals for her video.

Rafferty is pleased when Holly doesn’t fall for James’ tricks and promises to deliver an affordable and relatable promo video.

Rafferty is miffed when she skirts discussion of her NDA.

James is knocked when Rafferty dismisses his new role proposal but tells him that they’ll use some of his ideas.

James and Hayley are outraged when Holly demands that James paints a shop front.

James tells Holly he won’t be bossed around, and he will hire a painter.

James is deflated when Rafferty scolds him for his reaction, revealing that Holly’s plan was to film a wholesome clip of James and Milo painting together for the promo video.

Elsewhere in Carrigstown, Pete prods Orla for information on the potential sale of Vinos, but Doug warns him off.

Dean is taken aback when Orla approaches him with a proposal to buy half of Vinos with her.

Dean bristles when she reveals that Ray told her he can afford it.

Dean confronts Ray for looking at his bank statement and speaking to Orla.

Pete tries to question Claire about Rafferty.

Claire is amused by his prodding but gives nothing away.

Leo tries to calm Dean down, but Dean says he’ll use his savings to move out of the house now that he can’t live with Ray anymore.

Orla is embarrassed when she realises Pete has been asking about Rafferty on her behalf.

Leo and Nora urge Ray to apologise to Dean.

Ray insists he only blabbed because Orla has put her heart and soul into Vinos and they should take the opportunity to buy it if they can.

Plus, Ellie tries to cover her paranoia, while Alex insists he only made up the lie about Síofra’s ex to save Ben the heartbreak.

Ellie is irked when Ben begins to tease her about Alex and Síofra’s new friendship.

Ellie tells Ben that Alex made up the ex story, and that he should try again with Síofra and ask her to do something lowkey.

Ben is delighted when the plan works and Síofra agrees to hang out with him.

Alex is taken aback to hear Ellie helped Ben, pointing out this will end in disaster.

Alex begins to suspect that Ellie is jealous of his friendship with Síofra, but Ellie denies it.
