Fair City’s Holly Shine lands an impressive new job – but someone isn’t happy

Spoilers ahead: Holly lands a new job and James isn’t impressed, there are fears that Paul is planning to sell Vinos and Ellie becomes increasingly paranoid of Síofra

Holly angles for a better job title from Rafferty as she holds out on signing an NDA on Sunday night’s Fair City.

Rafferty warns her she’s not a part of the company till she signs.

Emma acknowledges that James has been doing a great job in Rafferty Developments lately and Rafferty begrudgingly agrees.

Holly is surprised to learn that James is unaware of her job offer with Rafferty.

James approaches Rafferty and Emma and asks for a ten percent raise for his hard work.

Emma tells him they’ll consider, but her and Rafferty agree that ten percent is too high.

Holly pitches herself as Communications Director and suggests that they rebrand to ‘Rafferty Homes’ to distance themselves from past scandals.

Emma and Rafferty agree, while acknowledging that Holly’s new position likely means James won’t get his raise.

James is horrified to learn of Holly’s new role, and even more so when she starts bossing him around.

Claire warns Rafferty not to sign off on Holly’s job until she has signed the NDA.

Elsewhere in Carigstown, Dean offers to help out more in the house, but Ray is still sore after seeing his bank statements and can’t help but make passive aggressive remarks.

Orla and Leo are concerned when Paul organises a valuation of the Vinos premises, worried he’s considering selling.

Dean and Nora become dejected when they believe Paul is going to try sell Vinos, after all their hard work keeping it afloat.

Ray proposes to Orla that she and Dean buy out Vinos themselves, letting slip that Dean has a lot of savings.

Plus, Ben suspects Síofra is flirting with him and wants him to ask her out, but Ellie isn’t convinced.

Alex is amused as Ben tries to find the right moment to ask Síofra on a date.

An unimpressed Síofra seeks to quash Ben’s hopes, but Alex insists she let Ben down gently.

Alex tells Ben that Síofra is going through a messy break up, and she’s not in the space to date anyone.

Ellie becomes paranoid when Ben mentions Alex’s involvement in putting him asking out Síofra.
