PESHAWAR, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 16th May, 2026) The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government on Saturday appointed four advisers and eight special assistants to Chief Minister Muhammad Sohail Khan Afridi with immediate effect.
According to a notification issued by the Administration Department, the appointments were made under Section 3(1) of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Advisers and Special Assistants to the Chief Minister (Appointment) Act, 1989.
The newly appointed advisers include Musavir Khan, Liaqat Ali Khan, Hamayun Khan and Mian Muhammad Umar.
The special assistants appointed are Tariq Saeed, Muhammad Usman, Tufail Anjum, Iftikhar Ullah Jan, Sami Ullah Khan, Malik Adeel Iqbal, Muhammad Khurshid and Muhammad Israr.
The notification stated that the appointments would take effect immediately.
