The EleFant has raised $1 million in a pre-Series funding round led by Growth Sense Venture Fund, with participation from JIIF, Arian Capital, along with angel investors including Asit Oberoi and Vimal Saboo.
The startup plans to use the fresh capital to strengthen its technology infrastructure and expand its operations across key Indian markets.
Founded by Sourabh Jain and Srishti Jain, The EleFant operates a toy subscription and circular play platform designed for children aged between 0 and 12 years.
The company offers families access to a wide range of toys and books through affordable monthly subscription plans starting at Rs 599. Customers can use toys for a period of time, return them after use, and select new products through the platform, promoting a sustainable and cost-effective approach to children’s play and learning.
Currently, the platform features more than 1,000 toys and books sourced from over 90 brands across various categories focused on education, creativity, and child development.
The startup follows a Franchise-Invested, Company-Operated (FICO) business model and has already built a network of more than 125 franchise partners across 18 cities in India.
With rising demand for affordable educational toys and sustainable parenting solutions, The EleFant is positioning itself as a leading player in India’s growing toy subscription and circular economy segment.
The company aims to cross 50,000 subscribers and expand its presence to more than 20 cities over the next 12 months as it scales operations and strengthens customer reach across the country.
